Sponsor is a person residing inside the Netherlands
- In this case you need to send in five documents
1. an original statement of guarantee (model M47)
2. an original excerpt from the municipality registrar (GBA)
3. a copy of the sponsor's labour contract
4. an original employer's statement
5. a copy of received wages (salary) of the last three months
If the person is the owner of his company or firm (not working as an employee) other documents are required (see below)

This statement is to be requested by email:

Excerpt from municipality
The excerpt must state the sponsor's family situation
Labour contract requirements
- name and address of company/firm/employer
- name and date of birth of the sponsor
- status of employment (function, type of contract: regular/steady, temporarily – if so: period of employment, working hours per week/month)
Employer's statement requirements
- not older than 3 months
- issued on behalf of the sponsor (employee)
- name and address of the company/firm/employer
- type of labour contract (if temporarily: period of employment)
- date of issue
- signed by employer
Copy of received wages requirements
- name and address company/firm/employer
- full name and date of birth of sponsor (employee)
- period of salary (month and year)
- both gross and net wages
If the person is the owner of his company or firm (not working as an employee) the following documents should be supplied:
- an original statement of guarantee (model M47), to be requested by email: verkort@ind.minjus.nl
- an original excerpt from the municipality registrar (GBA) stating the sponsor's family situation
- a copy of the company's registration at the Chamber of Commerce, not older than three months
- a completely filled out and signed form model M57
- a copy of the income tax assessment (IB60) of the last year.
